Verb Tense Mini-Lesson

▫️One of the hardest things to do while writing is to keep verb usage consistent. I cannot even tell you how many times I check my verbs while writing to ensure they are in the same tense.
▫️Consider writing a quick poem or take my poem below and mix up the verb tenses. Ask the students if they notice anything odd about the poem and then ask them to work together to correct it!
